Your first contact with parents will often be the welcome call. It shows that you care about making a personal connection with each camper and their family, and builds good-will. During the call you will:
- Introduce yourself and make parents feel welcome.
- Answer questions.
- Gather info about the camper.
- Leave parents feeling good about their decision and encouraged to tell others about the camp.
Welcome calls should be made on a weekly basis so that families receive a call within ONE WEEK of registering. We recommend making calls on weekdays after 3:30pm and before 5:30pm. Saturdays are also a good time to catch parents.
