Welcome Calls – Parent Welcome Calls

Your first contact with parents will often be the welcome call. It shows that you care about making a personal connection with each camper and their family, and builds good-will. During the call you will:

  1. Introduce yourself and make parents feel welcome.
  2. Answer questions.
  3. Gather info about the camper.
  4. Leave parents feeling good about their decision and encouraged to tell others about the camp.

Welcome calls should be made on a weekly basis so that families receive a call within ONE WEEK of registering.  We recommend making calls on weekdays after 3:30pm and before 5:30pm. Saturdays are also a good time to catch parents.
