HELP YOUR CHILD
FALL IN LOVE
WITH WRITING!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Registration opens for most on-campus and online summer sessions starting at 10am Pacific, on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. We expect many sessions will fill again this year, so plan to sign-up in January to save your space and take advantage of the best pricing of the season!

2024 TENTATIVE LOCATIONS

Please use this as a preliminary list for tentative planning only. We are still working with many of our school district and private school partners to finalize dates and location availability. Please also keep in mind that many districts do not finalize their summer school sites and summer maintenance schedules until February or March, and that can necessitate location changes. We know many families seek our schedule information ASAP for summer planning, and we are offering this information in an attempt to be helpful. This is our best estimate at this point, but please recognize some locations may change, be added, or even fall-through based on school / district schedules.

Turning “writing camp” on its formerly-stuffy head!

Our team of authors, musicians, teachers, and curriculum experts set out to create a writing camp that turns the notion of “writing camp” on its formerly-stuffy head.

For elementary campers, lessons are delivered as songs, and new writing skills are practiced by writing rap songs. Rising first graders develop story skills, while campers entering grades 2-5 publish their own eBooks. Middle school campers create their own project about a topic they love, and improve their persuasive and explanatory writing skills.

Did we accomplish our goal? We think so. Continue reading below to see for yourself what AIWcamp can do for YOUR young writers.

WE WORK TO CREATE A VIRTUOUS CYCLE OF ENTHUSIASM TOWARD WRITING

When a child becomes a more skilled and confident writer, it opens the door to success in all aspects of school… and life.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

Camp was a great success for our son. It’s the first camp he really enjoyed and he was so proud of his book and the books of his fellow campers. He was eager and ready for camp every morning, which is saying something for a 9-year-old boy in the middle of summer vacation. As soon as camp ended he started talking about going next summer. And his excitement transferred over to our daughter, who sorely wished she was at the camp, too. So, thank you for all your hard work! Our family appreciated how fun your camp was for our kiddo.Tricia Ready
