Managing Your Facility – Opening & Lock-Up

In some cases, a custodian will be on-site to open and close the classrooms we use.  In some cases, we will be given a set of keys to open and close the facility.  YOU are ultimately responsible for ensuring that the campus has been locked-up properly each day.

In most cases, if keys are issued, we will request and receive two sets of keys. One for you to use in the morning, and one for your Assistant Site Administrator to use at the end of the day.

If we only receive one set of keys: Please remember that you will be back to campus well before the Assistant Site Administrator (ASA) the next morning, and will need the keys before they arrive. As a result, rather than giving your keys to the ASA (who will manage Supervised Play after camp) we ask that you lock all doors when you leave, and ask the ASA to pull them closed when they leave. In the event of a lock-out you may be asked to come back to campus to open a classroom. This is rare, and all involved work hard to avoid this!
