Behavior Management – Camper Positive Behavior Program (i.e. Blue Slips)

Purpose: To quickly create a positive environment for teaching and learning.

Procedure: All staff members will receive Blue Slips to give to campers when a positive behavior has been observed. Blue Slips will be entered into a drawing, and selected campers will receive a prize during all-camp assemblies.

Specifically, we are aiming to create a culture around the following A, B, C’s:

Lemurs Follow the ABCs

	Classroom	Hallways/ Walkways	Cafeteria	Playground	Restroom	Always
Attitude	Allow others to learn Follow directions the first time they are given	Quietly smile and wave from your line	Clean up after eating	Include others in play	Report spills or plumbing issues that you find	Have Lemur Pride!
Best Effort	Come prepared to learn	Stay to the right in a straight, quiet line	Talk quietly to the people near you	Play safe Stay in the designated area	Keep the bathroom clean Use time and materials wisely	Work together
Courtesy	Be willing to share Raise your hand	Hold the door for yourself and the person behind you	Use proper table manners	Take turns with the equipment	Give privacy to others	Be friendly to everyone Use kind words
Self- Respect	Keep area clean Yearn to learn	Keep to your own space	Select healthy food	Leave the playground cleaner than you found it	Wash your hands to stay healthy	Be responsible for yourself
